Self Portrait, 1937, edition of 60 (Lunn, 13). Signed and dated "Milton Avery 1937" in pencil l.l., signed within the plate, numbered "15/60" in pencil l.r. Drypoint printed in brown on paper, plate size 8 x 6 3/8 in. (20.3 x 16.2 cm), framed.
Condition: Pale mat burn, gentle rippling, not examined out of frame.

The frame measures 17 1/2 x 15 3/4 x 1 1/4 in. Out of the frame the work is hinged along upper edges. Full sheet dimensions are 14 7/8 x 11 1/8 in. Acid transfer outside of the composition, possibly from previous matting.
