The work, entitled "Spirito Allegro", belongs to the collection of works by the master Mimmo Rotella created with the collaboration of the great Italian poet and writer Alda Merini.
The masterpiece is one of a kind, representing a piece handmade by the artist in the phase preceding the creation of the actual edition, defined as "Artist Proof", the only one ever made in this format.
Although it belongs to the Alda Merini 50x70 collection (as reported in the certificate issued with the work of the historical publisher of maestro Rotella supplied with the work in question - "Spirito Allegro" décollage serigraphs 50x70) in reality the work measures 35x50, being this piece created before the insertion of the poem on the side of the work, the only one created in this format by the artist and released as such!
This masterpiece, through Mimmo Rotella's famous tears, acquires particular plastic shapes, thus creating ever new games of lines and colours.
The tears handmade by the artist make each specimen unique, embellished even more by the uniqueness of this piece.
