DESCRIPTION: A Ming dynasty Shiwan ware ceramic sculpture of Guan Yin (God Of Mercy) holding a child in a seated position finished in a green, yellow and turquoise blue glaze. Comes on a ROSE wood base that was made later. Purchased from the private collection of the owner of well recognized Mannheim Galleries. Some worn glazed due to age.
