An Unusual Gray Pottery Lady Guard of Honor Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 A. D.) Excavated on the outsides of Xi’an, Shaanxi province Height 28 cm, wide 9 cm. Perfect condition, no broken or repaired. Original pigment! The lady is made of gray pottery and she wears a robe. She carries an important object. This lady would has been a part of much larger contingent of honor guards participating in the Emperor’s procession. Provenance: Dutch private collection, Amsterdam Important information.
