Outstanding pottery "mingqi" Fat Lady, High 40cm. With the original colours! (very important for this type of pottery figure regarding their quality) The elegant figure wearing full-sleeved voluminous robe falling in sweeping folds down to the sharped plinths, with her hands folded at the waist and concealed under the sleeves. The finely round face with penciled eyes, thin nose and small pursed lips in a benign expression. The lady dressed in an elaborate coiffure surmounted by a topknot, with extensive remains of white slip and red and black pigment remaining on the robe, the cheeks highlighted in pink. Note: A Certificate of Authenticity from Becker Antiques (antique dealers since 1969, Amsterdam) will accompany the item.
