One canvasback bears the inked inscription "Made by C. N. Barnard Havre de Grace, Md. 1943." Barnard moved to Havre de Grace in 1915. He carved a rig of decoys for Maryland’s U.S. Senator Millard Tydings (served 1927-1951), who was a lifelong resident of Havre de Grace at his Oakington Farm.
Original paint with minimal wear.
