A miniature ceramic bud vase of squat, rounded form with a short, constricted neck and a slightly flared rim. The vessel is constructed from a coarse, speckled reddish-brown clay body, consistent with stoneware or rustic studio pottery. The exterior is covered in a thick, textured, variegated glaze displaying mottled tones of earthy brown, tan, olive green, and rust orange. The glaze exhibits fine crazing and pitting, consistent with rustic firing techniques. The base is unglazed, revealing the clay body, and features an artist mark.
