A finely executed Indian miniature painting depicting an intimate court scene in the traditional Riti Kala manner. The composition portrays a princely figure reclined on decorative bolsters, intimately engraved female partner, herself surrounded by four other nude attendants. The figures are adorned with intricate gold accents, pearls and jewels across their hair, with necklaces, armlets and bangles.
