Mink Coat from Kramer

Vintage, calf-length deep brown mink coat from Kramer's Furriers, New Haven, CT. American, 20th century. Brocaded rayon lining, detached back hem. Standing collar, single row of 4 thread covered hook and eye closures, plastic button with elastic button-loop at wrist cuffs. Label at inside collar says Kramer's New Haven; embroidered name at inside right Parvin Shafie.

Dimensions are: 18 1/2 in (47 cm) straight across at shoulders X 49 in (124.5 cm) long, sleeve measures 26 in (66 cm) from cap to cuff. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Fur remains soft and intact. Third eye closure from top is missing; the back of the left sleeve was folded over about 1 1/2 inches with metal pin, area is now creased and slightly bagged.
