Edo period (1615-1868), 17th and 18th century
Comprising two fuchi-gashira, perhaps intended for a daisho (set of long and short sword) and an earlier kozuka, the fuchi-gashira of gilt copper deeply chiseled and embellished with gold and silver depicting autumn plants and insects, each fuchi signed Mino no ju Mitsunaka (Mitsunaka of Mino [Province]), the kozuka of shibuichi, the reverse with two diagonally divided areas of shibuichi and gilt metal, the panel chiseled and embellished with gold and silver depicting autumn plants and insects beneath a crescent moon
With three wood storage boxes
