Minton - Cache Pot (1) - Ceramic, Porcelain

Rare English porcelain vase holder from the prestigious Minton manufacture regularly marked on the bottom with the typical trademark which irrefutably dates the object to the year 1864. The cachepot reproduces a rush basket with a finely perforated border, resting on three lion paws anchored to the elegantly decorated saucer disc from Greek and double radial engravings. The object is perfectly preserved, brilliant in the bright enamels that decorate it.
Small crack of a few millimeters on the perforated edge as shown in the photo consolidated by a micro-restoration.
