Mirror, Cornucopias Crystal Factory La Granja Segovia - Felipe V - Glass, Wood - 19th century

This pair of cornucopias are crystal mirror acid decorated depicting orientalist figures, hunter and dancer. Frame is golden pine wood with rococo motifs and scrolls. They were made by the Royal Crystal Factory of La Granja, Segovia. La Granja was the most important glass manufacture in Spain during 18 and early 19 centuries. It was founded in 1728, under the patronage of Felipe V. Frst objective wasmirrors to the royal residences. In 1833, after the death of Fernando VII, and without the support of the Crown, the production of the factory is paralyzed. They are in good general condition, one cornucopia is missing a flower picture 5. 62x36 cm,
