The Mission DAD5 is a lightweight device with a powerful Philips CDM 4 optical drive. It's designed to work with the Mission DAC5 DA converter and fits snugly next to a standard 17-inch device. Crafted using Philips technology, the exterior features an alloy die-cast front panel with wavy contours, behind which the innovative Bit. Stream electronics are hidden. The front features a compact display and minimalist controls. Beneath its unique appearance is a loading tray, which smoothly rolls out the motor and laser at the touch of a button. This mechanism makes it possible to place CDs directly on the motor spindle, with the laser reading from below.
