Mission Style Oak and Leather Three Seat Sofa
Mission style three seat sofa constructed of quarter-sawn oak with a medium-toned finish. The frame features wide, flat armrests supported by vertical slats on the sides and back, with visible dowel joinery on the armrest surfaces. The seating elements consist of three loose seat cushions, three loose back cushions, and two rectangular side bolsters, all upholstered in green leather. The lower front stretcher displays a decorative arched profile. 30" H x 82 1/2" W x 34 1/2" D. Seat height 17 in.
Condition Report:
The sofa is in fair condition. The green leather upholstery exhibits significant sun-fading and discoloration, most notably on the back cushions where the vertical frame slats have created a striped shadowing pattern. One side bolster has a large vertical tear through the leather, exposing the internal white batting. The decorative leather ties on both bolsters show heavy wear, fraying, and partial detachment. The oak frame has various scuffs, nicks, and finish loss along the edges and corners of the armrests. The lower front stretcher shows a significant area of finish wear and water-spotting.
