Mochet - GM - 1951

[ translate ]

Vehicle with restored bodywork and reconditioned engine. A small contact problem with the headlamp dimmer switch which should be solved soon. Collector car registration, the country of origin is France and it can be viewed in Upper Normandy near 76810 Luneray. I am offering this Charles Mochet Vélocar from 1951 for sale. This is a rare and endearing vehicle, one of the first models of the 1000 units produced from 1949 to 1954. This small vehicle is powered by a 125cc Ydral engine. With a 3-speed gearbox, cable controls and strap brakes. It has a top speed of 60 km/h and a fuel consumption of 3 litres per 100 km. It has a collector car registration in my name and has been fully restored as you can see from the photos, the parts were sandblasted, treated against rust, painted with phosphate, polyurethane paint and varnished. The undercarriage was treated to protect against gravel, the engine was overhauled with a new gasket and the segmentation was renewed. It is equipped with hoops for a soft top and is fitted with new white sidewall tyres and a spare wheel. The upholstery is new, the floor carpet replaced, the wiring and electrical system refitted with battery. It is recommended to view the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment. Please contact Catawiki to arrange an appointment.
