An old impressive model of the 3 masted American clipper 'Flying Cloud of New York, after the design of Donald McKay (1810-1880). One-piece hull, painted pink and black. Full standing and running rigging, main and rear mast without sail otherwise full complement of sail present (stiffened with steel wire edges). Painted deck fittings glued to solid deck, including racks of belaying pins, anchors, pumps, wheel, bell etc. In its glazed case. Slight damage to rigging, some rusting to steel parts.

Middelste- en achtermast zonder zeil, verder alles aanwezig (verstevigd met staaldraadranden). In een beglaasde kist. Lichte beschadigingen aan de touwtjes, enige roestvorming aan stalen delen.
