Gemstones are often treated in order to improve colour and clarity. That was not tested for this specific lot. Unfortunately there is a crack in the sapphire glass. When wearing the brooch, the crack can't be seen however. The sapphire glass was made in such a way that the brooch cannot break. Insured shipping.
