Modernist Abstract Painting

A large vertical abstract painting executed in oil or acrylic on stretched canvas. The composition features a complex arrangement of overlapping geometric and organic forms delineated by heavy black outlines, reflecting Cubist influences. At the lower right, a spiral eye-like motif is contained within a rectangular box. The color palette is composed of muted earth tones including ochre, burnt sienna, sage green, and slate blue. The paint is applied with a heavy, textural quality, creating a layered surface with visible brushwork. The work is unframed, leaving the canvas edges exposed. No signature, date, or artist marks are visible on the face of the canvas.
