Frame with five embedded miniatures representing two generations of the House of Savoy: Carlo Alberto (King of Sardinia), Maria Teresa of Austria (Queen of Sardinia), Vittorio Emanuele II (first King of Italy), Maria Adelaide (first Queen of Italy) and Ferdinando (Duke of Genoa). In the space between each miniature are four painted wooden medallions representing the arms of Savoy. Frame decorated with carved, painted and gilded friezes, with a crowned coat of arms in gilt metal at the top. Back with inscription referring to the miniatures, signed "Sangiusto di San Lorenzo" and dated 1855.

Cadre avec cinq miniatures incrustées représentant deux générations de la maison de Savoie : Carlo Alberto (roi de Sardaigne), Maria Teresa d’Autriche (reine de Sardaigne), Vittorio Emanuele II (premier roi d’Italie), Maria Adelaide (première reine d’Italie) et Ferdinando (duc de Gênes). Dans l’intervalle de chaque miniature se trouvent quatre médaillons en bois peint représentant les armoiries de Savoie. Cadre décoré de frises sculptées, peintes et dorées, avec un blason couronné en métal doré au sommet. Verso avec inscription relative aux miniatures, signée « Sangiusto di San Lorenzo » et datée de 1855.
