Monkey Bird - Sans titre

[ translate ]

\Artist: Monkey Bird
Technique: technique mixte pochoir réalisé à la bombe et acrylique sur toile cousue\Signature: Hand signed\Dimensions: 240_250_cm
Canvas mounted on stretcher. This lost world, between Milton, Hubert Robert and Kipling, is covered with a celestial vault drawn through mathematical formulas. Plato and his cave are not far away. A pleasure investment. Monkey bird is the association of two French artists from Bordeaux, Louis Boidron and Edouard Egea who have chosen to transcribe social themes into wall fables, thanks to the representation of totem animals, monkey and bird. Both artists worked on the street before invade the walls of galleries and institutions. However, they do not give up their first place of expression and multiply the techniques and plastic experiments according to the space selected: stencils, engravings, linocuts, search for subtractions of material, drawings, carvings or posters made of glass canvas. Artists with striking graphic originality, they feed the international urban landscape through the poetry of their works. Their 32-metre-high production in Grenoble is certainly the largest stencil work in the world. These white stencils on black backgrounds, often enhanced with gold, are now spotted at first glance and bring a graphic proposal welcome in a universe totally saturated by colour. #exclusiveartweek
