Art Deco Brushed Metal Figural Lamp, 20th c. reproduction, after Max Le Verrier (French, 1891-1973), named Pluie in French ( Rain in English), in the form of a sitting monkey supporting the frosted glass umbrella shade, on a marble plinth base, signed "Le Verrier", height 18 in. The original sculpture was awarded a medal at the Humorist Exhibition in 1927. Please make note this is a European wired lamp, 3 stress cracks to the frosted glass lamp shade have been repaired/reinforced. 17 inches high with finial, on green octagonal stone base 7.5-inch wide.
