Beautiful Montblanc fountain pen in commemoration of CARLOMAGNO with number 0249 OF 4810. BRAND NEW IN ITS BOX. The model Karl der Grosse, Hommage' Charlemagne of the Mecenas Edition pays homage to that great cultural visionary of the first millennium with an equally extraordinary writing article. The body and cap of the Edition 4810 are made of delicately twisted 925 sterling silver. The meticulous gold plating mount resembles the Carolingian details of the decoration of Aachen Cathedral, a city in which Charlemagne was crowned. The barrel, cap, rings and clip from the Edition 888 are made of 750 white gold and are set with tsavorite – green garnets. The handmade rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib is engraved with a design from the Middle Ages and the emperor's monogram.
