[ translate ]

Beautiful propelling pencil of the Montblanc brand limited edition with the number 00228 of 17000, in commemoration of the great writer MIGUEL DE CERVANTES. We do not have the box. The design of the model Miguel de Cervantes of the Writers Edition is inspired on the windmills, whose shape is reflected in the writing articles and the clip. Its shape, pyramidal in opposite directions, symbolises the different characters of the hero Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza. The body of this model shines because of the brown lacquer with marble effect and is embellished with the writer’s signature. The handmade 18 karat gold nib is delicately engraved with the silhouette of a windmill. Born in Alcalá de Henares, near Madrid, in 1547, Miguel de Cervantes grew up as the son of an impoverished noble. After numerous adventures that marked his life, he ended up in prison for not paying his debts. Finally, there he found time to begin his masterpiece which turns around an impoverished nobleman who consider a noble knight. Through the failure of Don Quixote, such as in his fight against the windmills, Cervantes shows the contrast between the fantastic world of the knights and the daily life of the ordinary people.
