Montblanc writing portfolio handcrafted in Germany. The tri-fold case is constructed of smooth black calfskin leather with tonal stitching throughout. The exterior front panel features the signature white star emblem set in a metal surround. The interior is organized with a central writing pad compartment secured by leather flaps at the top and bottom, alongside a dedicated pen loop. The left interior panel includes two vertical document pockets and two horizontal card slots. The folder is secured by two gold-tone magnetic snap closures. The portfolio is marked on the interior with an embossed logo reading MONTBLANC THE ART OF WRITING HANDCRAFTED IN GERMANY. The leather exterior shows light surface scuffing and minor indentations. The interior leather exhibits minor creasing at the folds. The original box shows significant wear, including surface staining and a split at one corner of the lid.
