Montblanc Pope Julius II Patron of Art Limited Edition fountain pen. This piston-fill writing instrument features a cream-toned lacquer barrel and cap encased in a gold-plated lattice overlay inspired by the robes of Pope Julius II and the decorative elements of the Vatican. The cap is fitted with a gold-plated clip and three rings featuring circular punched details. A black resin finial at the cap peak displays the white Montblanc star emblem. The barrel retains a transparent adhesive label printed with a black M. The pen is housed in a dark brown polished wood presentation box with a gold-toned portrait of Pope Julius II on the lid and a matching interior plaque. The original illustrated outer card sleeve is included. Marked on the cap ring 0719/4810 and on the interior plaque LIMITED EDITION 0719/4810. 1 1/2" H x 8" L x 3 3/4" W.

Condition Report:
The fountain pen is in excellent condition with no visible cracks, scratches, or signs of use. A factory nib size sticker remains adhered to the barrel. The gold-plated plaque within the presentation box shows light surface tarnishing and dullness. The inner presentation box is in good condition. The outer cardboard sleeve shows minor edge wear and small areas of paper loss and scuffing along the top edges.
