A watchmaker and engineer from Solagna, Italy, made significant contributions to horology and engineering.

While known for his work in hydraulics benefiting municipalities, he gained recognition for his diverse clock designs, including pendulum, automata, table, and tower clocks. Notably, he reconstructed the tower clock of Piazza San Marco in Venice.

In homage, Montegrappa introduces a limited edition fountain pen collection bearing Ferracina's name.

The pens feature a voluminous silhouette and are crafted from pearlised celluloid in three colors with Sterling Silver trim. The pen is fitted with an 18k gold nib and a detachable functioning watch on the cap top, symbolizing Ferracina's dedication to timekeeping and engineering prowess. The production of these pens entirely in Bassano del Grappa serves as a fitting tribute to Ferracina's legacy.
