David Jacks (1822-1909) was a powerful and controversial Californian landowner, developer, and businessman. He has also been credited with the popularization of what is today known as Monterey Jack cheese.
Condition Report: Light shelf wear, spine label slightly chipped, some internal toning and foxing; overall very good.
