Monumental Cabinet Attributed to Giuseppe Terragni

Additional Information: Cabinet is from the Novecento Italiano period. Six glass feet are spaced equally along the front of the cabinet with two glass feet in the rear. Each column is wrapped with thin round wood rods, giving each column the appearance of fasces lictoriae. Between each column are five (5) inwardly bowed, concave doors with a geometric pattern on each door front. The cabinet doors have no visible hardware; door pulls are carved into a curved recess on both sides of each door. Two outer doors open to reveal three (3) finely crafted sliding drawers, with recessed, carved circular knobs, and the remaining doors reveal storage. Provenance: Home of Giuseppe Terragni.
