Monumental Porcelain Palace Vase

Monumental porcelain palace vase with handpainted iris flowers and leaves. This vase was once in the famous nightclub, The Roxy, in New York City. It comes on consignment from the original owner who paid $27,000 for it. The vase has beautiful irises, apple blossoms, and white and yellow flowers with leaves in nice colors on each side (three different paintings on each side). This item weighs an estimated 500+ pounds and requires several strong people to move. It has crazing over the entire surface. There is a large chunk (piece) that has broken off and fits perfectly to where it came out. There is also a small ding above an iris that needs to be professionally restored/repaired. We believe this was made in the late 19th or early 20th century. The maker is unknown. Measures approximately 65.5"h. Diameter at: top = 25.5", middle = 30", bottom = 22.5". See photos.
