British, circa 1831, salt glazed brown jug, sprig decorated with British royal arms, lions, hunt scenes and putti, neck with applied portrait busts of King William IV and Queen Adelaide, interior with olive green lead glaze, 20 in.Note: Probably made to commemorate the coronation of King William and Queen Adelaide who reigned from 1831 to 1837. Condition Report: large repair and chip to base, minor losses and cracks to sprig decoration, scattered abrasions and wear consistent with age and use
