Moreau, Auguste (French, 1861-1906) Silvered Bronze Putti Cherub Statue on Agate Base, Signed. This piece depicts a cherub crying out in full motion while running through the roses and branches of a garden with a chicken clasped in his arms, while sash, hair & feathers fly back in his haste. This beautiful piece is mounted on a double agate base. Sign on the lower silver base below the cherubs foot.
