Morley Hicks (Wisconsin, Ontario, 1877-1959) oil on board harbor scene painting depicting two boats moored at a dock before a group of buildings beneath a cloudy blue sky. Signed "Morley Hicks" lower right. Additionally signed with pencil inscriptions, en verso of board. Backside of top side of stretcher carved "Morley Hicks '48". Housed in a carved wooden frame. Sight: 19 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 22 3/4" H x 26 1/2" W. Provenance: Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, TN.
Condition Report: Overall very good condition. Frame with minor abrasions.
