Morris Walton Leader was born in Marshall, Texas and lived from 1877 to 1966. Leader studied under PL Hohnstedt and Edna Collins. His work was exhibited at the San Antonio Local Artists Exhibition, the Texas Fine Arts Association, the University Centennial Exposition, the Witte Museum in San Antonio and the Elizabet Ney Museum in Austin.
