A rare bronze mortar with a single braided handle with its original iron ring, decorated with a double owner's or "house" mark, one with a large capital M with a small letter O above and the other with a leaping dog. The body of the mortar is decorated with vertical columns and a lower frieze with instruments of war and garlands. Northern Italy. Late 15th century. Museum worthy !
