Brantford, Ontario. 1856-1857. Salt-glazed stoneware. A lovely example from the brief partnership between Justus Morton and businessman Adolphus Bennett, in the early period of the important Brantford stoneware factory. Stamped, "Morton & Bennett / Brantford CW / 3". 17" x 9" x 9". From the Darryl Silver Collection.
Condition Report: Good overall condition. Light stains and wear to body are evident, particularly the lower half. Some minor manufacturing flaws.
