After the original 1914 Mosaic egg, created for The Russian Royal Family by Carl Faberge. Enamel & gilt over pewter, with faux pearls & an embedded Austrian crystal. The lovely egg lifts off of its tri-footed gilt stand, opens at center, with magnetic closure, to reveal an enameled interior for storing trinkets or jewels. 2 1/2" H X 1 1/2" W.
