In 1180, Mishnah Torah (“Repetition of the Law”) appeared, a revision of rabbinic legal interpretation in 14 volumes that organized Mishnah and Torah in strict logical terms. The work was, among other things, by Rabbi Abraham ben David von Posquières, which, also in connection with the controversies surrounding his religious-philosophical position, led to the Maimonides dispute. Nevertheless, Maimonides is considered the authority par excellence in the field of religious legal literature. Unlike Maimonides' other major works, which were written in Arabic, Mishne Torah is originally written in Hebrew.

* Old Hebrew manuscript
* Rare and precious mulberry ink
*preserved and restored with beeswax
*Use of the Old Hebrew letters “Pai” and “Zai”
*approx. 700 year old manuscript on real deer skin (deer)

Contents:
“Leader of the undecided”

The Leader of the Undecided also found distribution in Europe in the 13th century and, despite initial attempts to ban it, became one of the central writings in religious and philosophical debates. Thomas Aquinas in particular dealt with it critically and developed his theory of analogy partly as a response to the negative theology of the Dux neutrorum. The reception was more favorable to Albertus Magnus, and later to Meister Eckhart and Nikolaus von Kues. Spinoza also usually deals with it critically. In the 18th century, Moses Mendelssohn and, particularly enthusiastically, Salomon Maimon drew on Maimonides' work to found a modern Judaism in the spirit of the Enlightenment in the spirit of the Haskalah. Among the numerous thinkers of the 19th and 20th centuries influenced by Maimonides, we should mention, for example, Hermann Cohen with his neo-Kantian-ethically impregnated reading, or Leo Strauss, whose interpretation of Maimonides postulated a hidden, more radical textual meaning and is now mostly viewed critically.

Beautiful and absolutely rare manuscript of the Mishneh Torah מִשְׁנֶה תּוֹרָה on the prohibitions on Yom Kippur & Shabbat.
Precious Torah manuscript on red deer skin (deer stag) from Córdoba, around 1300-1350.

I guarantee you the age and originality.
