"Moss" agate snuff bottle, China, 1820–1880
Rectangular in shape with rounded shoulders, the agate—in shades of ochre, red, and white—displays a natural pattern and a play of light and shadow thanks to the bottle’s skillful hollowing. Oval base. Rock crystal stopper.
Height: 6.5 cm
Small chip on the inside of the base.
