\Artist: Mounou Désiré Koffi (1994)
Technique: Collage de clavier de téléphone\Signature: Hand signed
Mounou Désiré Koffi is a young Ivorian artist who has mastered the art of recycling electronic waste that he collects in his hometown of Abidjan. He wants to raise awareness of the problem of "e-waste" in Ivory Coast, which produces about 1,500 tonnes of it every year, not counting "imported" waste from the West. . . At 26 years old, he is already one of the most important figures of contemporary art in Ivory Coast.
