A similar vase is pictured in “Mt. Washington Art Glass” by Betty Sisk, page 184. This vase retains a tag indicating that it was at one time part of the famous Jones Museum, which was at one-time located in Raymond, Maine. The tags reads “Jones Museum Exhibit 19”. The Jones Museum, put together by Dorothy Lee Jones, was a wondrous display of all forms of early glass and porcelain, as well as, Victorian and early 20th century items. Jones was an authority on most forms of rare glassware and china; not only had a museum but frequently did special seminars and exhibitions.
