Movado

In 1881, Achille Ditesheim founded a workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds with six watchmakers to establish pocket watches. In 1886, the brothers Léopold and Isidore Ditesheim joined Achille Ditesheim's company. The company was now called L. A. I. Ditesheim. L. A. I began developing wristwatches. Ditesheim around 1900.

Rare solid gold collector's watch from Movado - original dial, - original movement - own caliber

The watch was manufactured around 1950

Interesting two-tone dial. Original condition in perfect condition. Not refined. Gold-colored Arabic time numbers and black contiguous minute track on a white background ring. Blued arrow hands. Signed MOVADO under the twelve below the day name and month name. Blued hands with red arrow for day date from the center. Day scale with black numbers running on the outside. Small seconds on the six.

Gold bezel - hallmarked.

Movement own caliber Movado in original condition - described MOVADO 15 FIFTEEN JEWELS SWISS MADE
Gold-set chatons, gold wheels, lever escapement, screw balance and flat spiral - ruby endstone.

Work working.

Smooth outside in the pressed back cover - MOVADO logo Movado inside - gold hallmark - 320 491788.

The watch is in very, very nice original condition.

Exceptional fine lugs with engraved line in the middle. Rare version. Hallmarked.

Watch size: 34. 5mm without crown, with 36mm, with lugs 42. 5mm - weight 46. 4g

Beige elegant leather strap - bandwidth 18mm - length with watch 22cm. The leather strap will not be shipped to countries outside the EU.

Interesting, sought-after collector's watch with a fine look. Excellent original condition.
