Muller Frères - Art Deco lamp

MULLER FRERES A beautiful French 1930 art deco lamp in wrought iron holding a nice coloured shade by Muller frères. It is signed GV de Croismare (GV for Grande Verrerie) . When Muller opened a second plant in Croismare to produce mainly coloured lamp shades they used this GV de Croismare signature in the 20s. The lamp has a height of 32 cm. And the shade is 10,6 cm wide. The lamp is in excellent condition. The forged iron base has a subtle deep-brown egg gloss patina to it. The shade is in mottled multi-coloured glass paste. I have cleaned and rewired the lamp. Stylish twisted cloth covered cord, new plug and switch. I placed a new European E14 socket in porcelain and brass. For the States or Japan I will rewire the lamp with a US candelabra base socket and 2-prong plug.
