Muller Frères - Vase

Art Déco vase, MULLER FRERES, Luneville Height approx. 21. 7 cm, diameter approx. 13. 1 cm Clear glass, coated with several layers of different coloured glass powder: first with amber, reddish brown and black powder, slightly streaked; above it a layer of blasted platinum or silver foil, on which glass crumbs in ultramarine blue (foot) and sky blue (entire wall up to the mouth) were then rolled, resulting in an almost opaque surface. After applying the various powder coatings, the vase was etched with colourless glass.
