This remarkable mural attests to the variety of fish species living in the prehistoric subtropical freshwater lake system now known as the Green River Formation. The noteworthy plate provides a time capsule of the dramatic event known as an aspiration: The Diplomystus is preserved with the tail of another fish in its mouth. Offered in a custom hardwood frame and fitted with a cleat system for ease of wall installation. The largest fish measuring 22 ¼ in. Measures 48 x 33in overall.
