Clasp tests as 14 kt. gold. Heavy wear to enamel. Glue residue at one side of clasp covering several pearls. Pearls: creamy white body, pink overtone, some dimples and growth marks on smaller pearls, medium to good luster. Split-pearls: gray body, silvery overtone, several with large chips and fractures to nacre, medium luster. Jade: light to vivid green, mottled coloring, surface reaching fractures near edge of one wing, good polish. Rubies: medium brightslightly purplish-red, cleanish, lively. Butterfly: 1 3/8 x 1 15/16 inches. Clasp: 1 1/4 x 5/16 inch.
