Muonionalusta Meteorite Cube Iron, IVA Norrbottens, Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E) Found: 1906 Iron meteorites can – and very often are – made into other different versions as the result of cutting, etching, polishing, etc. A rather simplistic form, the cube, is actually one of the most popular forms of "worked" meteorite material. This offering consists of a cube of Muonionalusta Meteorite, which has been etched on all six sides revealing the incredible Widmanstätten pattern so associated with this variety of Iron meteorite. Each face measures approximately 1.19 inches (3 cm) on edge. A fine example of the famed arctic material from Sweden, this geometric form weighs 213.2 grams and is cute beyond belief, with beautiful faces and a few minor expected imperfections to the sharp edges.
