Sicieta Salviati Company (Italian) Circa 1866 hand blown amethyst glass bowl. This was a copy of the famous eleventh-century Byzantine painted enamel cup in the Treasury of San Marco, Venice. Features gilt metal frame, with two handles, and glass decorated with enamel allegorical figures around the body. No apparent signatures.
