VENINI vase, curved rods 540. 11 Colour: tea, grass green, taupe; Murano glass 2017. Condition: new. Colour: tea, grass green, taupe. Dimensions: Ø 12 cm, H 29 cm. Material: mouth blown glass, worked by hand. Technique: blown glass with curved rods in three different colours green/tea/grey. Excellent and new manufacture by the famous Italian company Venini. The rod used for the "filigree" glass can be straight, transparent with an opaque or coloured inner string, or curved transparent with strings or ribbons. The filigree can be "Reticello" (mesh) with a delicate mesh pattern, "Retortoli" (twisted) for the curved spiral strings, also called "Zanfirico" from the name of the antiquarian Antonio Sanquirico. The rod with smaller section is called "Cannetta". The rods are then placed near each other, molten and blown to obtain an item of great value, thanks to its final look and the complex execution.
