Museum grade giga Fluorite and galena Crystals on matrix - 26×18×17 cm - 7700 g
Great large unique museum-grade piece of gemmy deep-purple, lustrous cubic (twinned) fluorite crystals scattered over a thick matrix. Accented by 2 galena cubes (35 mm and 20 mm) . The crystals fluoresce bright blue under UV illumination. And also have the DAYLIGHT UV when they turn to a rich deep purple. From a long closed mine! (1999) comes this nice English oldtimer fluorite. Large specimens like this you see seldom nowadays. (Last 2 pictures when wet / cleaned outside) Frazer's Hush: Hushing was a form of hydraulic mining in which a stream was dammed and allowed to pond. The dam was then breached, allowing the rushing water to strip away the downstream top soil, exposing bedrock and any ore-bearing deposits present. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!
