Museum-quality tablecloth dating back to the 1700s, hand-decorated in Buratto lace, with 4 napkins. A true masterpiece for connoisseurs. High quality textile antiques. The use of the Buratto as a net on which to embroider originated in Sicily, the technique spread widely between the 16th and 17th centuries, as evidenced by the publication of Paganino's book “Il burato, Libro de recami” in 1527. In excellent condition, without tears or signs of wear, with 2 tiny stains, as shown in the last photo. Loom-woven linen. Ecru colour.
